I made no changes to Catalina (10.15.0/1), or to my Synology NAS configuration — for it to just connect filesystems to my Late 2013 iMac. Serving multiple filesystems from the Synology as Apple File Protocol (AFP) over TCP/IP, and it just works with Catalina, as it has with preceding releases of macOS.

NAS SYNOLOGY - Antivirus by McAfee Hello, Having purchased a NAS, SYNOLOGY is offering McAfee Antivirus for NAS for one month of trial downloads. I would like to include it in the Total Protection pack I subscribe to, but this does not seem to be possible by the standard procedure. McAfee software on the NAS only offers a paid subscription.
I upgraded from True Image 2018 to 2019, and ever since, have had nothing but problems with the application. Note that I am using a Synology NAS DS213j (OS on it is up to date) for backup storage, so I do not know if these issues are specific to that NAS. My computer and NAS are both on a wired network.
